Event itself is over, but not your chance to donate to these golfers who sweated the day away for Orpheus and it's contribution to the Arts and the Community! Pick your favorite golfer and add to his donations!
On April 12, members of the Orpheus Male Chorus will put aside their tuxedos and starched shirts, don sun visors and golf shoes and rename themselves…the Orpheus Duffers!
On that day, at the Bear Creek Golf complex in Chandler, they each have committed to play 100 holes of golf…in a single day!
We are doing this in an effort to raise funds so that we may continue:
• Performing exceptional choral music for thousands of Valley residents, and
• Providing important benefits to local charities

In these spare economic times, government grants to artistic groups have all but disappeared. Meanwhile, Orpheus must buy music, pay director’s and accompanist’s salaries, rent rehearsal space, book performance venues, and retain legal and bookkeeping services. We would also like to continue to give to the community through our charitable interests.
Annual ticket sales cover only 25% of our operating costs. Member dues and donations make up another 30%. Private donations from the community, for which we are especially grateful, constitute another 15%, leaving a gap of $30,000 to come from fundraising activities.
. . . which is where the Orpheus Classic 100 Marathon come in!
On that day in April, as each of us golfers struggles from sunup to sundown to play 100 holes, we are asking you to help us reach our goal of $30,000 by sponsoring one of us for $.50, $1.00, $2.00 or a fixed dollar amount per hole.
